I recently finished a piece of art for a pal and thought it would be cool to share some process pics.
Although these shots were snapped with my cell phone, they give you a idea of how I take a image from composition ("comps") thru to completion. The comps (I did several, this being the coolest) were sketched out digitally on a Cintiq then printed, light boxed and traced onto art board. I used a very rough (cold press) art board which provides a nice texture for the ink wash.
